Auron's New Car

It is a 1996 Mitsubishi Magna GSR - a limited edition that has a spoiler, mags and is factory lowered.

Hey hey. That's tidy Auron. Good work. I've seen a couple of those getting about, they're pretty cool cars.

I imagine it handles and drives somewhat different from what you are used to, also there is plenty of room for tables! (or people if you are that way inclined)

...and chimneys too! Bur seriously, that so cool. I imagine it would go rather nicely, as long as its not to bad on fuel (*cough*ivan*cough*). How fun. Does it handle well? Performance? Quite zippy I'd imagine. 2.4 or 3L?

It's a 3.0L - and I'm testing out the fuel consumption now, but in all seriousness it will probably be using LESS fuel than the colt (yup, it was that bad). I also heard that the 3.0L doesn't actually slurp that much more fuel than the 2.4. It certainly has a lot more zip than the colt :P and im looking forward to testing it out on a decent highway run one of these days. The handling seems good too.

Yeah, I don't think the difference in fuel will be that much. Is it a manual or an automagic?

Unfortunately it is automagic (i have a feeling that the large majority of magnas made from the 90's onwards were automagic), but in the end i don't really mind that much. At least it is a 4 speed auto. That's cool, I was just wondering (I'd guessed it was though, like you said: moist Magnas are).

thats probably why do you dont see many dry magnas out there; too many cool people around. you also neglected to say how many kilometers shes done (not on the cnn scale please.)

She's done 235,000, a decent amount - but a fair few of them were highway miles (the previous owner had a 40 minute highway commute to her work up in the Sunchine Coast).
