After playing for three hours straight I finished the main game of Portal and it's one of the most fun games I've ever played. It's fun and truly hilarious. Basically it's all about cake. Now I need to go through the bonus maps and the commentary levels.

oh it's goooood. I like the scout most so far (though I'm a bit crap due to general rustiness).
It's really cool, and I find it very addictive. If the game isn't really going your way you can just switch to a different class, so I'm having a hard time getting myself to quit (similar to CS, there doesn't seem to be an end to the game, it just keeps going). You can probably guess that I'm a fan of the Spy :) Pyro next favourite, but everything is fun. Cool game.
Yeah - definitely addictive. I've settled into using the medic as the main class but I find i mix up the classes more than I usually do with games like BF2. Only annoying thing about the medic is players who ALWAYS go heavy and expect you to spend the entire game buffing them. Shadow will need to show me how to use the pyro because I just got hosed whenever i tried it.
The medic/heavy thing is weird - I went heavy once and just had medics hanging off me all the time, following me around, generally pandering. For the pyro I found it best to be a bit lurky...hiding somewhere and waiting for the enemy team to start running past, then jumping out into the middle of them and TORCHING THEM ALL BAHAHA....you don't last long, and don't even get many kills, but do mega damage all over the show. And everyone runs around screaming. Other than that, pyro is good in any enclosed space where you'd expect a flamethrower to be good (although I found that demo-men always took me out a bit easily)
