I'd first off like to say that don't get me wrong, I am not against beliefs, I believe that everyone in the world is entitled to believe in whatever they want WITHOUT PEOPLE FORCING BELIEFS DOWN THEIR THROAT. However I am against organised religion, because i have noticed that every organised religion out there (catholic, muslim, buddist I'd love to see your reasoning behind that one :PLook at Tibet pre-Chinese occupation, peasents starving while Buddist monks horded gold, or Sri-Lanka, where thousands of people have died at the hand of buddist rebeals, or in Burma, where people are not allowed to do anything which doesn't conform to traditional buddist ways, it's everywhere, even in Buddism, etc.) is mostly about power and controlling the massess through fear, than it is about belief. I also make mention to the Ancient Pagan Belief that you did not have to be humble and natural things like breeding and enjoying yourself were not considered sins, sounds more fun heh.

Now I have nothing against legitimate research, but this is just silly. I have no doubt that these well meaning Mormon's believe that they will "cure the world of the sinful plauge of homosexuality", however that's hardly the point. I think the point is that research dollars would be better spent trying to develop new ways to cure AIDS or prevent poverty. Also, surely as it's a condition in the brain and they are using science to change the chemestry of thte brain, then this means that their God created these gay rams in the first place? and if God created these rams and their sexual preference, then how can it be that it is sinful, as God created them that way?
