Count down till i return to the motherland

He's a victim, he's a dreamer, he's a klutz, and he's the first great hero in the local area. Former slave laborer and Hydro Employee of the day, Jamie didn't ask to be the savior of his people...and if his people had a choice, they'd throw him back.

The thought of this knobby-kneed goofball leading a popular uprising against the Hydro caused panic and not a little shrieking, but against all odds, Jamie has sucked it up and followed the hero’s path with only occasional diversions into hysteria, terror, and near-suicidal bouts of depression. Since earning some pretty special mystical tattoos, Jamie is capable of possessing his enemies, turning invisible, healing the sick, drinking the monk and can even become the all-powerful Shrykull when circumstances allow. While small in stature, and somewhat feeble in brain, being the chosen one does have its perks. Jamie can turn invisible, and has the ability to possess and control any creature he comes across…from the measley Slig to the mighty Scrab. He’s also got a mighty, mighty fart which he can control and make explode. Jamie thought his troubles were over after saving his people from certain doom. Just as he was accepting the praise and adulation from his Mudokon bretheren, three Mudokon spirits appear and tell him he’s got another quest. When not committing terrorist acts against Glukkon business establishments, Jamie can usually be seen rescuing Mudokons or running from various forms of wildlife. Jamie has been known to vacation in Necrum, the Mudokon City of the Dead, otherwise known as Perth.

Music

Eskmio Joe - Beating like a Drum

Third Eye Blind - Slow Motion

The Sleepy Jacksons - Vampire Racecourse

Muse - Unintended

Latest Album I have purchased

Bob Evans - Suburban Kid

This Album is a pretty good album. I first encountered Bob Evans playing support for Eskimo Joe and was suitabley impressed, i then heard another of his acts supporting Evermore down in Freo and once again thought it was good live music. It's all very Accoustic stuff and he can play a harmonica like no-one elses business. That and the fact that on stage during his act he drinks straight from a wine bottle. A wine bottle no less, not a cask, that just oozes of class if you ask me.

Anyway for those that don't know, Bob Evans is the alter ego of Kevin Mitchell, who is lead for Jebediah. Although under Bob Evans his songs are very much laid back. All in all this is a fair album, although in listening to it i realise i meant to buy his other one Suburban Songbook. Overall i rate this album 3 out of 5.
